Analogue photography of beautiful Amsterdam canal houses and exquisite interiors showcased in the heart of the vibrant City. In a location with a longstanding and unique history. In short: a crossover experience connecting heritage, contemporary times, art and architecture. What more can you wish for? Well, add a touch of design and the feast for the eyes and mind is complete.
If you enjoy the finer things in life -including art and design- and you are residing in or visiting London in January 2017, you can visit the Dutch Centre in the City where renowned Dutch photographer Marie-Jeanne van Hövell tot Westerflier will have her first exhibition of analogue photos, including wintery scenes of the Amsterdam Canals.
City Cufflinks is a proud supporter of the arts and will collaborate in this exhibition in showing their handcrafted miniature sculptures of both Amsterdam and London, designed by Dutch designer Seroj. The Amsterdam Canal Cufflinks will be linked to the works of Marie-Jeanne. In both the photography and the design objects the cities as depicted will come to life in the intimacy of the marvelous Dutch Centre (within the Dutch Church premises). Yet again a cufflink moment.
The Dutch Ambassador to the UK will open the exhibition on January 17 at 7 PM in the Dutch Centre. Address: 7 Austin Friars, London, EC2N 2HA.
The exhibition will continue for 2 months.
